This will definitely help you to organize your day while visiting the city. The shops gereally remain closed on Monday mornings, Saturday afternoon andon  Sundays. Now not everyone follows these timings since there are so many tourists around. So mainly all the shops in the center remain open even during these hours. If you are in smaller towns or away from the center, then it is probable that the shops respect these closing timings.

The restaurants begin serving from 12 to 3pm and from 7 to 11:30 pm. Apart from these hours there are bars that are always open and happy to serve you.

Banks have strict timings that are from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 4pm. . They remain closed on weekends. The main post office are open until 6 pm but the smaller affiliates are open only in the morning till 12:30 pm
