Howdy! Are you all set to come to Florence? Well i can let you in with some info on traveling on a budget as well! Florence is not a big city, so it won’t be too irritating looking for a place a little outside the center.

Prices are often higher in the heart of the city, so if you go a little away from it, there are many decent one-two star hotels or B&B’s that with better prices. There are even some convenient hotels located right near the station that have cheaper rates as well. Of course this depends even on the period you come. Hotel rates drop during the months of July, August, mid October and around the Easter period.  Saving on the accommodation may help you do more activities within the city!

Of course try avoiding extra charges within the hotel that can be tricky like using the internet,phone, utilising the minibar or having breakfast if it is not included in the price.
