In June there was finally the long awaited opening of the Hard Rock Cafe!…It had to come even here after all. It was like the missing part of a puzzle, fitting perfectly to what seems like an endless wait. Taking place of the Gambrinus Cinema, already on the eve of the opening the Hard Rock included around 10,00 fans!

With barely a months opening the cafe has been a constant house full even though having place for more than 200 customers. The typical look of the Hardrock mixed with the interiors of the ex Gambrinus, a traditonal Italian theatre with Roman and Etruscan architecture makes the place come to lifee! Well theres no words to say then… this place rocks!

On the 4th of July comes another gift to the inhabitants of Florence. Its Piazza Repubblica which is getting prepared to host the special event of the Hard Rock Cafe. A concert inaugurating the opening of the Cafe will shake the very roots of the Rock music since the Simple Minds will be performing live and exclusive. Litfiba and the Irishman  James Walsh will be on stage as well. A night to remember and which will definitely be a integral part of the history of rock in Florence. Don’t miss out!
