Bagels in Florence – How Not To Miss Home

Once upon a time in America there was…Bagel!  I have to be honest and never had a true fit on bagels but I have to admit that Florence has never seen many places other then Pizza, Panini, Pasta, Bruschette and now..kebab!…at every corner!

It’s then with great pleasure that I have come through this group on Facebook about a new place in town that delivers fresh bagels and American Diner kitchen just like IHOB, from the user comments I have read must be very good and this article will soon be update with a personal review once I have tried, Yummy!

The Florentine Diner is @ Via Faenza 4 close to SMN Train Station and Via Nazionale.

    I eat my bagels at Mama’s. Here on there Facebook page you can find blog and newspaper articles, fan comments and even a clip from a TV show. I don’t think you can find better bagels any where in Italy.

    I used to agree with Giorgio until I had the bagels at Bar 53 at via S. Caterina! They are a little smaller than the large NY bagel I like, but the taste and texture are perfect. This place just opened but I’ve already had bagels there several times – they’re probably the best bagels in Italy!
